The 3rd & Final Presidential Debate is Tonite…from Long F’n Island!

It’s go time!

Yes sir, tonite’s debate is coming to us LIVE from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY–on fabulous Long “Nobody from around here really says ‘Strong Island’” Island. It’s about 35 minutes away from where I live and I gotta admit, it’s kinda awesome thinking my man Obama (pause) is so close by.

The debate begins at 9p, and the pundits and other media peeps are saying that unless something un-fucking-believable happens, all Obi’s gotta do is hang back and stay coooooool while ol’ John “MaverickMaverickMaverickMaverickMaverickMaverickMaverickMaverick” McCain goes all mental trying to stem the tide of the Obama-Biden ticket’s momentum.

I imagine Senator McCain is gonna slip in some jibba-jabba (c) Meka Soul about William Ayers and all that nonsense, but I can’t see it making a dent. McCain is on the wrong side of the Change movement, and if he knows what’s good for him, he’ll stick to relevant, dignified topics and issues and leave the bullshit to that mean, nasty woman, Governor Sarah “You betcha!” Palin.

In any event, I’m all in for Senator Barack Obama, and I’m hoping he stays cool and focused and reinforces his policies and stances and keeps us marching towards Health, Hope, and History.

No, seriously!

Okay, so, some of you might remember the epic, highly controversial “Alumnah’s March Maddness” series we did spanning March & April. Well, apparently those fuckers at Vibe Magazine decided to rip off our whole shit!

HipHopDX reported today that Vibe Magazine did a similar tournament, complete with brackets and junk, only instead of it spanning a buncha rappers from all time periods, they decided to have theirs be “Best Rapper Alive”.

I call bullshit.

Now I know that no idea is original, and while I presented our own tournament after thinking about The Source’s late 2001, early 2002 tourney, reading about this one just hit too danged close to home. So, having said that, PISS OFF, VIBE! If you want Alumnah.com content, cut me a fuckin’ check. Seriously. I could use the money, and one man’s “selling out” is another man’s “cashing in”.

My condolences to MarkTwainFame, who was my chief rival for the affections of Miss Johansson (sp?), because Scarlett Jo married Ryan Reynolds the other day. I didn’t bother reading about the ceremony or whatever cuz I don’t care that much–even tho’ it’s my opinion that RyRey is cool as heck, and Scarlett is the hottest snowbunny (blonde, anyway) in Hollywood today.

I hate when celebrity chicks get married. I mean, I’ll still oogle, but the moral part of my brain that acknowledges marriage as a sacred vow is still active whilst baking, so I can’t really enjoy Scarlett’s beautiful face and decolletage (french for cleavage) the way I’d like to.

Um, pause?

Anyway, there are still a bunch of hot unmarried celebrity chicks out there for me to warm up the oven to, so it’s all good. Anne, Rachel, Emma, & a few others are all still hot and uber-cangetitable.
