It’s your turn. It’s our time.
I got my ass up at 10 minutes ’til 6am, braved the chilly Long Island uber-morning, and drove with Pop Dukes to a nearby elementary school (FunFact: Spent kindergarten and first grade there), waited in line for about 5 minutes total, clicked the top line down all the way through to make sure I voted Democrat all across the board, and then left, smiling at how easy it was.
I left feeling empowered and full of hope. Today could be the day it all changes, for the better, finally.
Do not let your cynicism, your fear, your apathy, your conspiracies, or your oh-so-coolness rob you of this feeling.
Of this moment.
Vote for Barack Obama today.

The 3rd & Final Presidential Debate is Tonite…from Long F’n Island!
It’s go time!
Yes sir, tonite’s debate is coming to us LIVE from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY–on fabulous Long “Nobody from around here really says ‘Strong Island’” Island. It’s about 35 minutes away from where I live and I gotta admit, it’s kinda awesome thinking my man Obama (pause) is so close by.
The debate begins at 9p, and the pundits and other media peeps are saying that unless something un-fucking-believable happens, all Obi’s gotta do is hang back and stay coooooool while ol’ John “MaverickMaverickMaverickMaverickMaverickMaverickMaverickMaverick” McCain goes all mental trying to stem the tide of the Obama-Biden ticket’s momentum.
I imagine Senator McCain is gonna slip in some jibba-jabba (c) Meka Soul about William Ayers and all that nonsense, but I can’t see it making a dent. McCain is on the wrong side of the Change movement, and if he knows what’s good for him, he’ll stick to relevant, dignified topics and issues and leave the bullshit to that mean, nasty woman, Governor Sarah “You betcha!” Palin.
In any event, I’m all in for Senator Barack Obama, and I’m hoping he stays cool and focused and reinforces his policies and stances and keeps us marching towards Health, Hope, and History.

If you missed Obama’s speech, you lost the most ever.
That was fucking incredible. Barack Obama hit those republican bastards back for everything they said about him. Dude was crazy dope phat ill, and it was amazing to see.
I’m inspired, and this is the greatest moment our generation has ever been a part of. Before tonite the only thing our generation had was 9-11, but now–almost 7 years after that tragedy–our generation of wanderers can all unite and say we were there the day it all changed.
The cynics, the nihilists, and the haters have just officially been proven to be relics of a bygone era.
